Exam 2 Grades Posted

The grades for Exam 2 are now posted. The grades were pretty good. I threw out three questions that at least 65% of the class missed, so your grade was calculated as the percentage correct out of 47, rather than 50.

The grade distribution and statistics are provided below:

Mean: 77.8%
S.D.: 12.25
Median: 79%
Min: 57%
Max: 98%

I also calculated an approximate mid-term grade based on the percentage of points you have earned. (For example, if you earned 92% of the points, you'll see a 92, which would be an A.) That will display at the top under "Mid-Term." Right now, there are still 390 points left, so there's plenty of opportunity to raise your grade between now and the end of the semester.

Project Part I Grades Posted

I have posted the grades for Project Part I. You'll see three columns -- one for the percentage of points, one for your peer evaluation points and the third which is the points you earned. The first two are used to calculate the points.

If you don't see any peer evaluation points, you didn't have any added or subtracted. If you didn't turn in your peer evaluations, you had -1 points in addition to any subtracted by your peers.

If you want to see your projects, come by my office during office hours. (I won't have them Monday because of a dental appointment, though.)
